BANKNOTE: 500 ZENS

01 · KALVIN MAKONG
1815 - 1890
Justice in very private service
Kalvin Makong suggested which laws should exist, whom they should protect, and when inconvenient files should burn. Under him, justice was independent: it knew exactly who it belonged to.
No bribe ever changed his mind; certain donations merely accelerated his thinking. He called it ‘judicial sponsorship,’ with receipts available upon request.
Rich or poor, anyone could lose a trial; the rich simply gave notice before the verdict. The 500 Zens note honors his service to the law. Grateful, it never filed a complaint.
